Discussing U.S. reliability for European security with OPEWI, April 22 (Virtual)

OPEWI, the Brussels-based security think tank, is hosting a virtual panel discussion April 22 on the uncertainties over the reliability of the U.S. commitment to NATO and European security in light of Trumpism and Trump’s hold on the Republican Party. I’ll be a panelist discussing how we got here and why the risks are real. Co-panelists are Brig. Gen (ret.) Mario Grecco, former NATO and Italian armed forces policy and planning officer, and Michael A. Allen, professor of international affairs at Boise State University. COLIN WOODARD is a New York Times bestselling author, historian and award-winning journalist.
