Downeast Maine: I’ll be speaking on the crisis facing U.S. democracy, how we got here, why we’re vulnerable and what we can do about it, at the Seaside Series hosted by the Stonington Public Library in Stonington, Maine on Aug. 28 at 1pm. This talk comes out of my three most recent books — American Nations, American Character and Union — and the related work I’m doing at Nationhood Lab, the project I founded at the Pell Center at Salve Regina University.
