On April 21 at 7pm I’ll be speaking on my most recent book, Union: The Struggle to Forge the Story of United States Nationhood, and the battle between civic and ethno-nationalist visions of the country at Salve Regina University in Newport, Rhode Island, where I am a Pell Center Senior Visiting Fellow.
