Union paperback launch event, June 24, Blue Hill, Maine

I’ll be speaking on my most recent book, Union: The Struggle to Forge the story of United States Nationhood, in a special fundraiser for the Word Literary Arts Festival on June 24 at 7pm in Blue Hill, Maine. It’s been organized by the most excellent Blue Hill Books and held at the Bagaduce Music Lending Library.

The event is open to the public, though they’re asking for donations to help the festival, which celebrates the rich literary culture of the Blue Hill peninsula, one of the finest parts of our coast here in Maine. You can reserve a seat and preorder books via this link.

Live elsewhere in New England? These Union events are coming up:

July 6, 6pm, Camden Public Library at the Camden Amphitheater, Camden, Maine.

July 16, 6pm, Boothbay Harbor Memorial Library, Boothbay Harbor, Maine.

September 27, 6:30 pm, Scarborough Public Library, Scarborough, Maine.

October 12, 7pm, Newburyport Public Library, Newburyport, Massachusetts.

Hope to see some of you along the way, face to face!
